Our goal is simple: make it easier to understand what changed, verify that critical connectivity still works, and catch regressions before users discover them.

Why We Built It
Network incidents often begin with a deceptively simple question:
“What changed?”
Infrastructure teams usually have plenty of monitoring data, configuration data, Terraform plans, cloud consoles, and logs — but understanding whether a change actually affected an important network path can still take far too long.
PingTraceSSH was created to make that process more direct.
The platform continuously models AWS network state, records infrastructure changes, validates configured Critical Paths, and analyzes proposed Terraform network changes before deployment.
The goal is not more dashboards. The goal is faster answers to:
- What changed?
- What path is affected?
- Is connectivity still healthy?
- Will this Terraform change break something important?

Explainable results
A regression result should tell an engineer what path failed, why it failed, and which infrastructure change caused it.

Fail closed when uncertain
If PingTraceSSH cannot safely determine the outcome of a proposed infrastructure change, the result is INCONCLUSIVE rather than falsely SAFE.

Javon Pringley
Founder, PingTraceSSH
Javon is a network engineer with more than a decade of experience working with enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, routing, firewalls, WAN infrastructure, and network operations.
PingTraceSSH grew out of the recurring operational problems he encountered while managing real infrastructure: understanding what changed, tracing the effect of network changes, and validating connectivity across increasingly complex environments.
His focus is building tooling that gives infrastructure engineers clearer answers without requiring more manual console-hopping or another layer of operational noise.
